Privacy Policy
What the Casa da Quilha app collects, why we need it, and how you remove it. Last updated 24 September 2026.
Casa da Quilha is a surfboard repair workshop and board rental on Av. Pequeno Príncipe, Campeche, Florianópolis (SC), Brazil. This policy covers the Casa da Quilha iOS app and the account pages at casadaquil.site. We collect only what we need to repair your board, reserve a loaner and keep your stamp card.
What we collect

All of it is used only to provide the service in the app. None of it is used for advertising, sold, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
What we do not collect
- Payment details. The app never takes payment. You pay at the counter when you collect (Pix, card or cash).
- Location. If you allow it, your location is used on your device to show distances to the workshop and beach drop-off points. It is never sent to us.
- Tracking, analytics or ads. The app contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and does not track you across apps or websites.
- Contacts, health data, browsing history or diagnostics.
Permissions
- Camera: only when you tap “Take a photo” to photograph damage for a quote.
- Photos: the system photo picker lets you choose specific pictures; the app does not read the rest of your library.
- Notifications: local alerts when your board changes stage, before a drop-off and on the day a rental starts.
- Location (optional): distances on the map, on your device only.
Other services
Surf conditions come from Open-Meteo. The app asks for the forecast at the fixed coordinates of Campeche beach; no personal data is included in that request. As with any web request, Open-Meteo can see the IP address that made it.
On your device
The app keeps a copy of your repairs, rentals, stamp card and the shop catalogue so it works with a weak signal at the beach. Your session token is stored in the iOS Keychain. Preferences such as theme, sounds and haptics stay on the device.
Where it is stored and for how long
Account and booking data are stored on the Casa da Quilha server at casadaquil.site over encrypted connections. We keep it while your account exists. Booking records needed for tax or consumer-protection obligations under Brazilian law may be kept for the period that law requires, without the photos.
Your rights (LGPD)
Under Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to know who it is shared with (no one, beyond the hosting provider that runs our server). Write to [email protected] from the email on your account and we will answer within 15 days.
Children
The app is meant for surfers aged 13 and over. Younger surfers should have a parent or guardian book repairs for them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
